Tree Prism

About

Tree Prism is a small project from Vibe Genealogy. It’s made by Konstantin Popov.

Here you can look at your family tree from many angles: see the branches of your family, generations of ancestors, relatives’ lives against the backdrop of history, or family connections as a “galaxy.” Open a GEDCOM file to explore nine visualizations. Every chart can be saved as a PNG, and every chart except Galaxy as a PDF.

For each person, the app picks one parent family: it first looks for a record marked as a birth relationship or with no relationship type given. If there isn’t one, it takes the first of the others. That means adoptive or foster parents may appear on a chart.

Your file is processed right in your browser and is never sent to a server. There is no sign-up, no tracking, and no analytics, and the site is not allowed to make network requests with your data.
